Malnad Gidda
Overview
Malnad Gidda cattle are a small indigenous breed found in the Western Ghats region of Karnataka. Despite their small size, they produce nutritious milk with high medicinal value.

Native Region
Mainly found in Shimoga, Uttara Kannada, and Chikmagalur districts of Karnataka.

Feeding Requirements
Malnad Gidda cattle mainly graze on forest vegetation and crop residues. They require minimal feed compared to larger breeds.
